Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez have one of the steadiest marriages in the local showbiz industry. Their four-day wedding was an event that was followed by fans everywhere. Now nearing their 10th anniversary, the couple is as in love as ever; their union blessed by two beautiful children, and their careers still going strong.But both of them relate that it takes a conscious effort to make sure that the flames of love never burn down. And while the lessons they share are things we hear about every day, it just goes to show that this golden couple know which things matter most.

1. SAVOR THE SIMPLE THINGS.
While their showbiz careers may afford them opportunities to hobnob with the rich and famous, Aga and Charlene find their greatest joy with their children, Andres and Atasha. They even have slumber parties with their kids. "It’s simple, but it’s perfect," relates Aga.
2. VALUE YOUR VOWS.
Charlene shares this philosophy: "You want to have a family; to have a good husband, loving kids. Now that’s given to me, I choose to make that my priority. If you concentrate sa family mo, all the blessings fall into place. At masaya ka pa!"
3. GIVE A LITTLE SPACE, BUILD A LOT OF TRUST.
Despite the temptations that come with having careers in showbiz, Charlene feels no insecurity when it comes to what Aga does for a living. "He lets me be, I let him be," she adds. "I have a hundred percent trust in him. No suspicions—nothing."
4. BE EACH OTHER’S BEST FRIEND.
Aga says it best: "My best conversations are with my wife."
To which Charlene adds, "I guess it helps when you dream together, when you aspire together. When you dream as partners, it’s all positive."
5. DREAM TOGETHER.
Charlene sums it up simply: "The dreams keep the marriage exciting. There’s always something to look forward to."
6. HAVE A LITTLE FAITH.
"You can really feel that it was guided by God," Charlene says about her relationship with Aga. "From the moment we were engaged, there was so much affirmation from God; so many signs, one after the other. Everything was so smooth—up to this day."
