Vin Diesel visited the Philippines two years ago to promote his movie, Fast and Furious 6. He rode a jeepney, ate Filipino food, and even said that the Philippines is the best place he's ever been.
In 1986, Johnny Depp visited the Philippines to shoot his movie Platoon. He stayed here for three and a half months and lived in the jungle for two weeks. Talk about dedication!
Just this year, the Suicide Squad actress visited the beautiful island of Bohol. According to CNN Philippines, she was there to raise awareness for Rise Above Foundation Cebu. She ended up helping feed around 400 less fortunate children by chopping vegetables and helping cook their meals as seen in these photos!
Famous film director Quentin Tarantino also came to the Philippines to attend the Cinemanila Film Festival back in 2007. In an interview with PEP.ph he says, "I've been wanting to come to the Philippines since I was a little boy, and to actually come here, actually have people know who I am and actually welcome me in this way...it's overwhelming."
