Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo slipped onstage while performing during her 24/SG birthday concert on July 21, but she retained her poise and continued to sing despite her fall.

A video taken during the concert showed Sarah descending a flight of stairs while singing “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from the musical Dreamgirls, when she missed the last step and landed on the floor. Still, Sarah didn’t miss a single note. She gracefully stood up again and continued as if nothing happened, to raucous applause from her fans.

"Buwis-buhay 'yun ha (I risked my life for that)," Sarah jokingly told the audience after the number. According to a report from ABSCBNNews.com, Sarah later told a group of reporters that it was more important for her to give a good show than to worry about her painful fall.

"May pasa ng konti… Pero okay lang 'yun, the show must go on," she said. "Hayaan na natin. At least nag-enjoy tayo and nandito silang lahat para magbigay ng suporta so okay na 'yun (I have a small bruise… But that’s okay, the show must go on. Let’s forget about it. At least we enjoyed the concert and everyone came to give support, so it’s okay.)."
