Robin Padilla has long been vocal of his refusal to acknowledge his brother Rustom Padilla, by his transsexual identity, BB Gandanghari. PEP.ph reports that Robin just can’t bring himself accept BB’s transformation despite his deep love and respect for his sibling.

However, the action star surprised his Instagram followers last July 1 when he posted a photo of a hospitalized BB playing with Robin’s son Ali.

“My son Ali showing his boxing moves to my sister BB Gandanghari who used to be my brother Rustom who beats me up when we were young,” read the photo’s caption. “She is so weak because of a very serious infection but her right cross is still as fast as before. My son was surprised and amazed.”

Judging by how Robin addressed Rustom as his “sister BB Gandanghari,” it can be inferred that he has already accepted his sibling’s new sexuality.

Robin’s fans noticed this, and they were quick to express their joy for what he did.
