A day after actress KC Concepcion revealed she and actor Piolo Pascual were no longer together, Piolo returned from a concert in Japan with other Star Magic talents and made a brief statement on the issue.
"I don't think I have anything else to say," he is quoted as saying on PEP.ph. "You know, KC has said her piece so hayaan na lang natin. Hindi naman biro yung pinagdaanan naming dalawa. (You know, KC has said her piece, so let's let her be. What the two of us went through isn't easy.)"
Piolo did not react to any of KC's statements just yet, instead choosing to ask for people's understanding. "Hindi madali yung proseso. Hindi rin madali yung maraming nakaabang, maraming naghihintay, at maraming nakikialam. So, ang akin lang, hayaan na lang muna kami, especially Kristina, na it's not easy. (The process isn't easy. It's not easy that there are a lot of people waiting and meddling. So let us be for now, especially Kristina, as it's not easy.)"
