Queen of All Media Kris Aquino, whose marriage to estranged husband James Yap is in the process of being annulled, admitted she does feel lonely without a partner sometimes, especially when she sees her children, PEP.ph reports.
"Kasi Pasko, e. Do'n mo mararamdaman na nakakaawa talaga, not just Bimby but also Josh," she said at the press conference for her Metro Manila Film Festival entry this year, Segunda Mano. "Kasi kapag nakikita nila si James, talagang feeling nila, parang buung-buo sila. (It's Christmas. That's when I pity the kids the most, not just Bimby but also Josh. When they see James, they really feel like they're whole.)"
Kris said she's happy, but there are moments when loneliness just can't be helped. "When you're working with other people who are in a happy relationship, that's when you compare what you don't have," she confessed. "E nakita ko kasi na ideal and loving boyfriend talaga si Dong [Dingdong Dantes]. Nakita ko kung gaano maalaga at solid ang relationship ni Angelica [Panganiban] with Derek [Ramsay]. (I saw what an ideal and loving boyfriend Dong is. I also saw how nurturing and solid Angelica and Derek's relationship is.)" Dingdong and Angelica are her co-stars in the movie.
This Christmas, while Kris isn't looking for a man, she said she hopes she'll be granted the freedom to fall in love, something she's not allowed to just yet in legal terms. "I want finality kasi, parang hindi ko naman inaasahan na may lalaki pang darating sa buhay ko, but I want an option. Malay natin, may makatabi ako sa eroplano. Di ba, hindi mo alam ang mga gano'ng sitwasyon, baka madapa ako sa mall at may pumulot sa akin (I want finality because, even though I'm not hoping a man will come into my life, I want an option. We never know, I could be sitting next to him on the plane. You don't know when you'll get into situations like that. I could trip at the mall, and someone could help me up)," she joked.
