Kim Chiu couln’t help but get a bit emotional when she was interviewed during the April 21 episode of The Buzz. The actress, who recently turned 23, has admitted to not having a lot of friends, as her family frequently relocated when she was young.

“Kung may pagkakatiwalaan man akong isang kaibigan, isa lang o dalawa lang. Kasi, I’m not used to having a friend... Iba-ibang cities ako nag-aaral. So, I don’t usually have a best friend (If I were to trust a friend, it would only be confined to just one or two people, as I'm not used to having a friend... I studied in different cities. So, I don’t usually have a best friend),” she was quoted as saying in an article on PEP.ph.

When Kim was asked if she has already forgiven Maja Salvador, one of her closest pals in the industry, for going out with her ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson, the actress says that though she can accept Maja’s apology, she might not be able to completely forget what her former friend has done.

“Siyempre madaling magpatawad, pero mahirap kalimutan yung ginawa nila (It’s easy to forgive, but it’s difficult to forget what they did),” she said.

Still, she is hoping that they will be able to iron out their rift in the end.

“Time will tell and, siguro, hindi pa ngayon (Time will tell and, maybe, it’s just not the right moment.).”
