The Philippines bagged five trophies at the 54th New York Festivals International TV & Film Awards, PEP.ph reports. Among the recipients was GMA-7's cinematic version of the "Lupang Hinirang" (Philippine National Anthem), which got a Bronze award in the Music Video category.

The video features iconic moments in Philippine history, including the Battle of Mactan with Lapulapu (played by Aljur Brenica), the martyrdom of Jose Rizal (played by Marvin Agustin), the Battle at Tiradpass with Gregorio del Pilar (played by Dennis Trillo), and the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution (featuring Marian Rivera).
