The newest and biggest hair commercial shoot for the Pantene Pro-V Nature Care line, featuring celebrity endorser Angelica Panganiban, was shot on a beautiful sunny May day in Hacienda Isabella in Indang, Cavite. The shoot was unique in that it included some 300 girls from all over the country, making it the biggest hair commercial shoot ever done locally.

Women and girls came from as far as Davao, flying in 2 days before the Pantene event just to be included in the commercial, and their enthusiasm was definitely infectious. Even the intense heat didn’t stop the girls from working with Angelica and showing off their natural bouncy hair—the actress was very gracious with her commercial co-stars, saying that it was the girls’ time to shine.

And it truly was the girls’ commercial—they were given star treatment from the very beginning. Their day started as they were picked up from various points in the Metro and brought to the scenic venue. Upon their arrival at the venue, they found themselves walking down the red carpet in true star style.

Angelica was extremely happy with the turn out. She was extremely touched with the outpouring of support for the Pantene campaign. "Sobra siyang iba dun sa mga nagawa kong commercials for Pantene, kasi usually mag-isa ka lang or tatlo kayo; ito yung sobra, daan daan kayong magkasama. Nakaka-excite kasi parang hindi mo naman to moment to shine—moment naman nila. (It’s so different from the other commercials I did for Pantene because usually you’re on your own or maybe there are three of you. This is way bigger than that, there are hundreds of you all together. It’s exciting because it’s like it isn’t really your moment to shine—it’s theirs.)" The girls did shine, and they got a dose of what it’s like to be a celebrity endorser like Angelica for the day.
