Actress Bea Alonzo thinks rumored boyfriend Zanjoe Marudo would make a good family man, she recently revealed in an interview with PEP.ph. The couple was spotted at the Diether Ocampo Golf Cup Drive For the Youth on July 21, spending time together despite Bea having just finished her work for teleserye Guns and Roses. While Bea says she and Zanjoe have never discussed settling down, she admits that he has the qualities of a good husband. "Nakikita ko selfless siya pagdating sa pamilya niya (I can see that he's selfless when it comes to his family)," she is quoted as saying on PEP.ph. "So nakikita ko na pagdating sa magiging pamilya niya, magiging responsible rin siya tsaka magiging selfless. (So I foresee that he will also be responsible and selfless when it comes to his future family.)"
As for whether or not Zanjoe is "the one," Bea says it's only natural for people to ask themselves this question whenever they meet someone new. "Siyempre hayaan mo na akayin ka [ng kapalaran] kung saan ka dadalhin. (Of course, you just let fate bring you where it wants you to go.) "
In the meantime, Bea says she and Zanjoe are just enjoying their time together. "Walang pressure. As in day by day, walang expectations." Of Zanjoe she says, "He's unpretentious. And I think he's keeping me grounded. Kasi, di ba, parang minsan sa showbiz makakalimutan mo? (Because sometimes, when you're in showbiz, don't you tend to forget?)"
