Andi Eigenmann may have patched things up with her mother, Jaclyn Jose, after their controversial rift late last year, but she says that she and her ex-boyfriend, Jake Ejercito, have not gotten back together.

“Hindi kami nagkabalikan (We didn’t get back together.). I wish,” the actress was quoted by ABS-CBNNews.com as saying in an interview that aired on the February 3 episode of The Buzz.

However, Andi revealed that she and Jake are friends again. “We’re friends. We’re okay,” she said. “I guess we pushed things too much, we forced things... and kahit alam naming na hindi pa naman kaya. Kaya siyempre nag-fall apart siya (and even if we knew that it wouldn’t be possible. So of course it fell apart.).”

Andi also admitted that she still cares a lot for her ex-boyfriend. “I don’t know how he feels for me, you can ask him that. But with me, of course, I care for him a whole lot. And I’m just here for him.”
