Ai-Ai delas Alas has filed a restraining order against her husband, Jed Salang, whom she left last May 2 after being married for only around a month.

“100 to 500 meters, and he cannot go near Ai-Ai and the family members, designated staff members, house members... He cannot contact her. He cannot talk about the case. Parang gag order 'yan (It’s like a gag order),” Ai-Ai’s lawyer, Atty. June Ambrosio, was quoted by PEP.ph as saying on the May 26 episode of The Buzz.

The comedienne’s camp is likewise thinking of filing another case against Jed involving violence against women due to the physical abuse Ai-Ai allegedly suffered during their relationship.

Ai-Ai also revealed that she is trying to move on from her past.

“Marami naman akong anchor at pinaggagawang pang-killing time. I think magiging okey na ako... In three months, two months, I think magiging okey na ako (I have a lot of people supporting me, and I’m doing a lot of things to kill time. I think I’ll be okay. In three months, two months, I think I’ll be okay),” she had said in an interview on the May 25 episode of Startalk TX.

“Kailangan ko ring tulungan ang sarili ko,” she added later on. “I have to move on, 'di ba… Sabi nga, ‘after the rain, there’s a rainbow.’ O, 'di ba (I also have to help myself. I have to move on, right? As the saying goes, ‘after the rain, there’s a rainbow.’ Isn’t that right?)?”
