Kai and Cyrus had an unusual and thrilling wedding, as the couple and their guests hopped around various establishments in Boracay. While guests enjoyed the festivities, covering the event was extra challenging for the videographer, Jason Magbanua.

The couple gave Jason a couple of things to keep in mind while shooting their video. Jason was to do away with any cheesiness, and he was to treat the kissing scenes tastefully. Another unusual request: he was not to shoot the bride's wedding preps so she can relax while she got ready for her big day. Aside from these, the couple also asked Jason to shoot footages of all the people that attended the wedding--and that included the suppliers. "[W]e believe that the wedding was not just about us, but also the people behind it," the bride says.

Jason says that Kai sent him a powerpoint presentation of what she wanted for her video, but she trusted him to do his job well. "Bahala ka na," Kai had said. The instructions drove Jason insane, but they also challenged him--and that was what the couple wanted from Jason. The couple also met with Jason two to three times before the wedding. The meetings allowed them to get to know each other well and work harmoniously together. Kai and Cyrus also trusted Jason to choose an appropriate song. He used "Season of Love" by Shiny Toy Guns, which just had the right beat to match the couple's fun, laid-back, and love-filled wedding. In the end, the video turned out to be exactly what the couple wanted--a video that's so full of life and love.
