Jops and Cyrus had a wedding that referenced to Pinoy pop culture, and their video, which was shot by Rommerson, reflected the fun and laidback vibe of their big day.
Jops shares that they initially wanted a Tagalog song for their video, but on the eve of their wedding, she realized she wasn't entirely comfortable with their initial choice. With the help of her friends, she browsed through her iPod, where she found Barbie Almalbis' cover version of Apo Hiking Society's When I Met You. She found that the song perfectly captured how she and Cyrus felt about each other, plus the song held a special meaning to them--on her 23rd birthday, Cyrus had given Jops a CD of the Kami nAPO Muna album. The upbeat rendition of the old tune proved to be a fitting song for their wedding video.
The bride shares that warming up to their videographers allowed them to become comfortable in front of the camera. They acted as if no one was shooting them, and so the team from Rommerson was able to capture their candid moments. Jops also says that she and Cyrus didn't fuss over the minor glitches during the event. By keeping their cool, they were able to smile genuinely, whether the cameras were rolling or not.
