Valerie and Jorell fulfilled each other's dreams with a heartfelt wedding held in Cavite. With a green and yellow color motif, the couple's wedding turned out to be a charming and cheery affair.

Love Story
Valerie and Jorell met way back in 2001, when they were still both studying at Mapua Institute of Technology. They were both taking engineering courses and became classmates in one subject. Jorell had his eye on Valerie then, but went to pursue her only a year after.
Jorell's efforts to woo Valerie eventually paid off, and they became each other's first boyfriend/girlfriend. The relationship lasted for three years, but they decided to break up as they had different priorities then. Despite being apart, Valerie and Jorell still kept in touch and always knew that the spark between them remained. Come 2007, Valerie and Jorell reconciled as they realized that they were really meant for each other.
In 2010, Jorell decided to make their post-Valentine's date even more special. After taking Valerie to Tagaytay, Jorell treated Valerie to a special dinner at Bon Giourno. While eating, Jorell handed Valerie a brown paper bag, which held a figurine of a boy and a girl on a swing. And when Valerie laid her eyes on the girl in the figurine, she found a ring resting on its left hand.

Wedding Preparations
Ever since Valerie was a little girl, she had always dreamed of getting married in Caleruega. And so when she finally planned her wedding to Jorell, she got to live every bit of her childhood dream.
With a green and yellow color motif, Valerie and Jorell's wedding exhibited a refreshing and cheery ambiance reminiscent of a garden wedding--something Valerie has dreamed of as well. "When we [were] still planning for the wedding, we listed the [top priority] and the low priority items. We [invested] a lot on [our] photographer, videographer, and rings since these are the things that will serve as remembrances of our wedding," Valerie shares.
As they prepared for the wedding, Valerie learned that brides need not be "bridezillas." "Even how crazy, hectic, or stressful planning a wedding is, in the end, a wedding is just a single day. What matters most is the marriage. You may not get the wedding of your dreams, but you could definitely get the man of your dreams," she explains.
