Love Story
It was Tin and Uno's parents who paved the way for the beginning of their love story. Their parents set them up on a blind date, where they instantly clicked. "We hit it off instantly, with Uno already declaring that we were together and [insisting that] he'll just ‘wait' for me to get there and realize it," recalls Tin.
However, things weren't exactly easy for them as they went through the courtship stage--Uno had a lot of things to attend to as he ran for office during the May 2010 elections. However, as soon as the elections were over, Uno made up for the lost time with Tin. "[Uno told] me that I was his biggest blessing from God, and [that he] wanted to spend the rest of his life with me," shares Tin. Tin shared the same feeling and tied the knot with Uno in 2011.

Tin and Uno celebrated their big day with a modern Filipiniana-themed wedding. Because Uno is a government official in Manila, the couple decided to celebrate all things Filipino on their wedding. To add romance to the theme, chic tea rose, sage green, and champagne gold color were used for the wedding's color palette. With these, the couple's wedding turned out to be a harmonious showcase of the couple's personalities.
From their attire to the souvenirs, the couple's Filipiniana theme was consistently executed. Among the notable details was their lantern cake, which not only matched their chosen theme, but also had a unique flair. Tin and Uno also concocted customized scents to give away as unique souvenirs for the guests. Moreover, the couple's sophisticated theme featured an upbeat vibe as Tin and Uno incorporated modern elements into the affair.
With all the details coming seamlessly together for the couple's wedding, Tin and Uno were able to stand true to their advice for planning couples. "Involve your family, friends and most especially your fiancé in the preparations," Tin asserts.
