Love Story
When Tanya and Charlton met in the office, sparks instantly flew. The two found themselves attracted to each other, and soon they forged a strong connection. The two of them inseparable since.
In December 2010, Charlston and Tanya, along with 16 of their closest friends, went on a trip to the United States. Tanya was the last one to confirm attendance for the trip, since she was busy with her work. Fortunately, she was able to join the vacation--and received an unforgettable gift.
When the group had dinner at The Yellow Tail restaurant at The Bellagio Hotel, Charlton suddenly asked Tanya to come with him to the balcony. Tanya obliged, and as they went out on the balcony, she was surprised to see Charlton with a ring in his hand. With the perfect setting and the love of her life, Tanya couldn't utter anything else but a sweet yes.

Wedding Preparations
Tanya and Charlton's big day exuded a classic and charming vibe. The couple chose a gold and pink color motif, which gave their affair a romantic and whimsical air. Tanya admits that when she and Carlton started planning, she kept on changing themes. Later on, she realized that it was best to just keep things classic and elegant, as doing so would aid her in narrowing down the details for the wedding.
As a hands-on bride, Tanya made sure that every detail was taken care of. "I was doing a one-woman show from start to end of the planning. I would normally meet three to five suppliers of each kind every Saturday, starting at 8 a.m. I picked out all the suppliers and all designs [based on] my personal preference. [With] every decision I made, I informed my then-fiancé, who approved of all the things I decided on," the bride shares.
While there were some challenges as she planned the celebration, Tanya still didn't mind exerting a lot of effort, because in the end, she and Charlton got the wedding they have long dreamed of.
