Adventurous and travel-happy couple, Tab and Edward, their aqua and sand-themed Catholic wedding in Amanpulo was planned according to their desires. The intimate celebration at the breathtaking island was attended by those closest to their hearts.

LOVE STORY
Tab and Edward met at the opening of Tab's stores, Strip and Browhaus through Tab's belly dancing instructor. "He kept pestering me to go out with him," Tab shares. "I said unless there's a lazy boy involved, and if you would get a Boyzillian (male version of a Brazilian we coined), then maybe."
Edward did get one, and Tab was forced to go out with him. She soon saw that he was different from the others. Tab shares, "[In the car, on the way back from our first formal date, he asked,] 'Can I hold your hand?' Ano ba!" But they found they both liked pushing the limits, loved going on trips and had their dates out of town or out of the country.
Shortly after Tab's critical emergency procedure that required blood transfusion for her rare blood type, Edward sought doctor's permission to surprise Tab and take her to Amanpulo. "I was really shocked...and medyo kabado," Tab recalls. Edward proposed on their second night there. "Inaway ko pa," says Tab. She enumerated all the bad qualities she could think of, to which Edward replied, "That's why I want to marry you."

WEDDING PREPARATIONS
Both hands-on with the wedding, Tab and Edward took about three months to get most of their aqua and sand-themed plans done. "We just had a list [of] negotiable and non-negotiable [items], and from there we worked backwards...until I found out I was pregnant!"
Their initial wedding month was when Tab was due--fortunately, all their suppliers were still available on the new date. There were other challenges: Tab had a delicate pregnancy as she does not share the same blood type with her baby, and her father was diagnosed with cancer and couldn't give her away at the wedding.
Three months after Tab's delivery, the November wedding at Amanpulo was attended by their close friends and families. Inspired by their previous trip at the island, the couple prepared the guests' resort activities like snorkeling and yoga, personalized their goody bags, and made sure the guests had the same meals that Tab and Edward had enjoyed on their last weekend there.
Later on, the couple held a thanksgiving cocktail party at 1Esplanade for Tab's father and other relatives who couldn't make it to the ceremony. When asked if she could change anything given all that's happened, Tab says, "Probably not. It's more meaningful to me."
