Love Story
Sherill and Michael met at a common friend's party, but even before that meeting, Michael had already checked out Sherill's Friendster page. The two hit it off immediately and soon became friends. They had very similar work backgrounds, and so they found it easy to relate to each other. Eventually, Sherill and Michael decided to pursue a romantic relationship. Aside from wooing Sherill, Michael also made an effort get to know Sherill's son better.
One time, the couple was vacationing in Boracay when Mike wore a shirt that said "I support single moms." Little did Sherill know that aside from literally wearing his heart on his sleeve, Mike was also ready to wear a wedding ring. As they were watching television, Mike proposed to Sherill. Through her joyful tears, Sherill said yes.

Sherill and Michael chose a romantic vintage theme for their special day. A bold pairing of fuchsia pink and black became their wedding motif.
For them to pull off such a beautiful celebration, the couple started planning way in advance. The bride shares, "If you want to get the best suppliers, best to book early! I booked Threelogy, Pat Dy, and Veluz more than a year and half before our wedding date." Not only did booking early help the couple get their top picks of suppliers, but it also allowed them to save. "Aside from securing your preferred suppliers, you'll get better rates since most suppliers increase yearly," Sherill adds.
Despite having the best suppliers to take care of their wedding, the couple still involved themselves in the planning process. They took on DIY projects to personalize their affair. Among the details they customized were their souvenirs, misalettes and other stationery, and ceremony accessories. In the end, the fusion of personalized and professionally-made elements made for a breathtaking affair.
