Sel and Ogge's big day was marked with laughter, tears of joy, and exchanges of heartwarming speeches. Their pearl white and gold color motif served as the perfect accent for their warm, elegant affair.

Love Story
Sel and Ogge first met in high school, when they both attended the same seminar held at La Salle Greenhills. At first, the two didn't pay each other any attention, but they eventually got to talk. "We hit it off right away. We had more of those conversations and became really good friends until things just naturally progressed into something more," recalls Sel. However, Sel felt that she was still too young to enter a serious relationship then.
Sel distanced herself from Ogge, until she bumped into him again when they were both about to enter college. "We rekindled the friendship and again, this friendship grew into something more. Yhis time, I decided to take the risk," Sel proudly shares.
With the couple's strong connection, their eight-year relationship resulted to an engagement, which Ogge marked with a creative proposal. Ogge had always enjoyed playing Boggle or Word Factory with Sel (even if he always loses), and he realized that "searching for the words through a mess of letters is so much more fun with someone you love to be with you and want to spend your life with."
And so on one of their Saturday dates, Ogge used Boggle to pop the question. After one round, where he lost once again, Ogge started his spiel by saying that "Life is like Word Factory." He then turned the tray of letters upside down. While most of the letter cubes fell, some stuck in the tray--thanks to double-sided tape. When Ogge turned the tray upright, the question "Wil you marry me?" was spelled out, as one letter L fell. And of course, Sel had no other word in mind to utter but yes.

Wedding Preparations
Sel and Ogge tied the knot with a classic and heartwarming wedding. A pearl white and gold color motif gave their wedding a warm, elegant vibe that allowed their guests to feel at ease. "What really made our wedding special were our family and friends [who were] there," says Sel. She adds, "We had a beautiful homily. We had very personal and intimate messages from our families and friends. And of course, we got to share our personal vows."
As perfect as they thought their wedding turned out, the couple shares that some things will not go as planned. "But you have to learn to be okay with it," asserts the bride. "Little glitches here and there will happen no matter how well-planned your wedding is. But it's okay, because at the end of the day, you're married to the man/woman of your dreams," she explains.
