Vintage glam rock and romance came together on the day of Rose and Cholo's wedding--the celebration of a relationship sweeter than that of a musician and of his muse. With the couple's collective passion for music, a creative wedding was bound to ensue.

LOVE STORY
Long-time schoolmates Rose and Cholo knew each other well as friends before they saw each other romantically. "We were classmates since Grade 7 but we only became close [during the] latter part of high school," Rose says. Eventually, the two's friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship.
As a couple, Rose and Cholo would travel together, and it was on their trip to Boracay that they took their relationship to the next step. During the mid-flight Bring Me game, the flight attendant asked for the passengers to bring an engagement ring. Cholo won that game's round, knelt down on his knee and proposed to Rose with a beautiful diamond ring. The couple left Manila as girlfriend and boyfriend and arrived in Boracay as an engaged couple.

WEDDING PREPARATIONS
"Fun, quirky with a hint of vintage feel" was what Rose and Cholo always imagined for their wedding. Deciding to take their passions for music as inspiration, the couple incorporated various musical elements into the wedding details.
Concert posters were put up at the venue and added the right touch of rock to the reception celebration. Old cassette tapes were used as escort cards, album covers were customized as guests' table numbers and vinyl records were repurposed as VIP guests' table numbers. Ice cream carts and photo booths for the guests completed the fun atmosphere.
The rock and roll couple decided to mix things up for their first dance. Instead of taking the traditional route, the bride and groom substituted their first dance with their first Rock Band session as a married couple, where they played The Beatles' 8 Days a Week on the music video game they both love.
Rose and Cholo's event was very laidback, and that allowed them and their guests to enjoy. "Don't be too caught up with the small details because most people won't even notice it. Just relax and have fun!," the bride says. The couple hit all the right notes with their celebration and had a wedding they'll remember at least eight days a week.
