Love Story
Nem and Lem met when they were in high school--Nem was a then transferee from Japan and couldn't speak much Filipino. They really didn't take notice of each other until they bumped into each other in Tagaytay. Nem however, found Lem quite intimidating with his stance and group of friends.
A week after seeing each other in Tagaytay, the two were formally introduced by a common friend. Nem then realized that Lem had a soft side, and the two forged a friendship that led them to officially become a couple.They got civilly married in 2005, and were blessed with three children.
One New Year's Day, Nem and Lem paid a visit to the place in Tagaytay where they first saw each other. There, Nem remarked how she wanted to get married at Chapel on the Hill, to which Lem simply replied: "Then let's get married in Church this year."

Nem and Lem's much-awaited church wedding was marked with a bold and fabulous vintage-inspired theme. The couple married the elements of the flicks Marie Antoinette and The Godfather to come up with a glamorous affair that reflected their personalities. "Everything was about what we love--the food, the music and its lyrics, the drinks, [and] the games," Nem shares. With these elements coming together, the couple's union exhibited a modern, fun-filled vibe.
For planning couples, Nem and Lem shares that it is important to start drafting the guest list as early as possible. Determining the number of guests also serves as one of the primary bases in choosing a venue--especially for couples considering a destination wedding such as Nem and Lem's.
