Millet and Hendrick were together for 13 years before they tied the knot with a DIY-filled wedding last December in Tagaytay. Freshly picked flowers, rustic details, and a whole lot of charming quirkiness made their affair a perfect picture of love.

Love Story
Millet and Hendrick met way back when they were batchmates in the University of Santo Tomas College of Fine Arts, but it was only after graduation when they started dating each other. They had a solid 13-year relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend before they decided to move on to the next chapter of their love story.
To ask for Millet's hand in marriage, Hendrick had to propose twice--first on their seventh year, and then on the eighth. On both instances, Millet told Hendrick that she didn't plan to get married.
"But he persisted. He waited until I'm ready," the bride shares.

Wedding Preparations
When an artist weds a fashion stylist, a harmonious and tasteful exposition of creativity and uniqueness is bound to happen--and this was what Millet and Hendrick successfully delivered on their Tagaytay wedding. The bride shares shares that their wedding was "a mix of casual, modern and quirky. It aims to inspire."
The couple actively took part in the planning and execution of DIY projects. The groom designed the caricatures and H&M monogram on their invites. He also sketched each and every member of their entourage, and the drawings served as gifts for their special roles on their big day.
The bride, on the other hand, went to Divisoria, Dapitan Flea Market, SM Department Store, Landmark Department Store, and Rustan's Department Store to source materials for the ceremony and reception décor. In the end, the couple was able to pull off a dreamy ceremony at Sonya's Garden with a tasteful play on shades of white and green.
For the reception, the affair took on a charming country-harvest-meets-Mad-Hatter theme. As the tables were decked with warm and refreshing rustic details, the guests looked on with cheery spirits and quirky hats on their heads.
Indeed, Millet and Hendrick were able to achieve what they aimed for-inspiring wedding details that perfectly reflected their personalities.
