Michelle and Rammy met through work. While they definitely felt the chemistry between them, they weren't sure if the relationship would work. The two were exposed to different cultural backgrounds--Michelle is Chinese, while Rammy is Filipino. Still, Michelle and Rammy decided to take a chance. "We are very fortunate to have a supporting and open-minded family who listened and accepted our choice," Michelle shares.
Years into the relationship, the couple went on a trip to Boracay, where they stayed at the Two Seasons resort. The picturesque beach, the luxe accommodations, and an auspicious date--August 8, 2008--made everything perfect as Rammy finally proposed to Michelle.

Wedding Preparations
Michelle and Rammy's wedding was a fun and romantic affair, not just for the couple but for all their guests as well. The couple paid extra attention to their guests' comfort to show that the celebration isn't just about the two of them.
The couple held their reception at the Mandarin Oriental Manila. Events stylist Joyce Aguilar created a pleasant atmosphere by filling the venue with lush floral arrangements in rich hues of violet, pink, and orange. Ambient lighting--in the form of votive candles in clear holders--also greatly helped in making the space cozy. Moreover, the table setting featured a charming touch, as the plates bore vintage-inspired illustrations. The couple also prepared a candy buffet for their guests.
Michelle shares that they deliberately kept the program short. "We wanted to serve the food right away so we can go on with the short program. We [opted for] a short program so that people won't [feel] forced to watch or stay." In the end, the couple pulled off an affair that guests will definitely remember.
