Colleagues turned lovers Mega and Zenon tied the knot with a celebration featuring a peach, orange, and yellow color motif. Marked with chic details and heartwarming treats, their December destination wedding was nothing short of unique.

Love Story
"We met during--of all things--a job interview," shares Zenon. Mega was looking for a new career while Zenon was in the hopes of finding a person to assign to their company's office in India. Through the course of the interview, the two realized the very first thing they share in common--being workaholics. "We both got what we were looking for, and something much more important--each other," Zenon gushes.
When Mega was finally assigned to Delhi, India with Zenon, the two got to know each other even more. Zenon says, "[That was] the start of [the] romance, which blossomed in India, matured across different continents, and was kept alive over several time zones by call, text, and Skype."
As their relationship developed, the two later realized another thing they share in common--they "work hard [and] play harder." "Meg and I have made and shared a lifetime of memories while shopping in flea markets and designer stores, eating in roadside eateries and restaurants, chilling out at home or dancing up a storm in the clubs all over India, the Philippines, and throughout our travels [abroad]. It was definitely a fun start to a great relationship," Zenon says.
In 2009, Zenon cooked up a "perfect" proposal plan for Mega complete with the perfect ring and speech. Everything was set except for one unexpected thing--tropical storm Ondoy hit the country. "The perfect plan of [a] moonlit dinner for two on the beach [was] literally blown away," Zenon shares. Because of the turn of events, his real proposal turned out to be a simple one. "That's all that was needed, as we realized that it was not about being perfect, having the perfect lives or having the perfect relationship, but just having each other and a lifetime to share, live and love," he says.

Wedding Preparation
"We wanted our wedding to have a casual air to it where guests can relax, enjoy, and celebrate the day with us," shares Mega. From their chosen peach, orange, and yellow color palette, to their reception program, what Mega and Zenon envisioned for their wedding was successfully delivered. Their chic color motif channeled a unique, casual, and cheery vibe as their reception was marked with warm and quirky details that delighted the couple and their guests.
Nothing beats a cup of hot chocolate on a chilly December day--and this simple yet comforting drink allowed guests to enjoy the wedding's warmth. Rows of empty styrofoam cups with the guests' place cards greeted everyone as a hot chocolate stand was stationed at the venue. To make the guests' experience even more enjoyable, they were also treated to a buffet of pastries. The hot chocolate and pastries proved to be perfect for the cold Christmas weather. The couple further channeled a bit of Christmas spirit by asking guests to write down their messages and wishes for the couple in small cards. The cards were then attached to the small glittered Christmas balls.
With such a heartwarming wedding, Mega and Zenon can look back on touching memories that will last a lifetime.
