Love Story
Marisse and Chris went to the same school and stayed in the same dormitory during their college days. They didn't immediately notice each other, until a common friend of the couple, who happened to be Chris' highschool classmate, introduced the two of them to each other. "At first it was just hi's and hello's that turned into incessant texting, then eating dinner together and frequently going to Starbucks having hours of conversation. [S]oon after, one date led to another," Marisse fondly recalls.
And then three years into their relationship, Marisse and Chris found out they were on the family way and decided to have a civil wedding. After being blessed with a daughter, the two then decided to finally walk down the church aisle and take their vows to the altar.

Marisse and Chris had an intimate and elegant Filipiniana-inspired church wedding in Bataan. While the couple chose to honor tradition with their theme, they used warm shades of orange as their motif to add a modern and upbeat vibe to their affair. With culturally rich Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar as venue for the preparations and reception, the couple was able to channel an old world charm that suited their chosen theme.
To match the historical surroundings, the couple and their entourage came in Filipiniana attire. While the groomsmen wore the traditional barong Tagalog, the bridesmaids came in brightly colored ternos. Come the reception, dancers of Las Casas Filipinas entertained the couple and their guests with Filipino cultural dances tinikling and mazurka, which made the couple's affair feel more like a Filipino feast.
With such a beautiful celebration, Marisse and Chris were able share with their daughter and guests their great love story.
