It was a simple stapler that brought Lady and Rob together. The two shared a common class in college, where their professor asked each of them to submit an index card with a 1x1 picture. Lady prepared hers, with her photo glued to the card. Just as she was about to submit it, she found out that the professor preferred that the photos were stapled--instead of glued--to the cards. She looked for a stapler, and it was Rob who had one. Lady used to laugh at Rob for always bringing a stapler with him, but she turned out to be grateful to him at that moment. When she borrowed the stapler, their classmates started teasing them, and that sparked the beginning of their love story. Lady and Rob's connection eventually blossomed into a romantic relationship.
Seven years into the relationship, on Valentine's Day, Rob brought Lady to a romantic dinner at The Farm in Batangas. After eating, Rob led Lady to a spot where a group of candles were lit and spelled out the question, "Will you marry me?" Rob then went down on one knee and showed Lady the ring. When Lady uttered her sweet yes, fireworks lit up the sky.
Lady and Rob marked their big day with a romantic celebration laced with whimsical details. The couple chose a salmon pink and champagne gold color motif, which channeled a charming air.
DIY details, such as their monogram, invitations, missalettes, guestbook, and souvenirs, gave Lady and Rob's wedding a warm personal touch. One of the wedding's notable details was their souvenir staplers, a reference to how Lady and Rob got together. The couple even coined a catchphrase to sum up their love story: "Life without you is like a stapler without a staple wire."
The couple enjoyed every moment of their wedding, and they attribute it to the good communication among their suppliers. "It's really a plus that all our suppliers have worked together before. It's more fun, easier, and more relaxed for us and our suppliers," Lady shares.
