College sweethearts Kath and Job had a romantic vintage-inspired affair that still had some modern touches. With a black, white, and pink color motif, their February affair looked chic, dreamy, and ultimately filled with love.

Love Story
Job was Kath's college crush. They were classmates in almost all their classes in college but it took a while before they got acquainted with each other. "Job would always pick on me and I was really irritated because we weren't actually 'close' friends. Gradually, things became better for us--'The Bully' [turned out to be] a nice person to be around with," shares the bride.
Kath and Job's friendship took a different turn when they had their internship together. They started dating that marked the brief courtship between them. "It was funny because I needed more convincing that he really liked me and we were actually dating--no mixed signals and all that. [But] he was very patient in pursuing me and proving his intentions," recalls Kath. When Job asked her to be his girlfriend, she already felt like it was a marriage proposal for he went down on one knee with a promise ring in his hand.
Six years into the relationship, Job finally gave Kath a true marriage proposal. On their way to attend Christmas Eve mass with Kath's family, Job parked his car along LP Leviste in Salcedo Village--the place where he had first said ‘I love you' to Kath. He placed the ring inside a candy wrapper and put it on the passenger seat--the package was made to look like a piece of trash to grab Kath's attention. When Kath got in the car, she got hold of the wrapper with its special treat and uttered the sweetest ‘Yes!' "We're both happy that I don't just throw trash of the window--that would have been hilarious but nerve wracking for him," shares Kath.

Wedding Preparation
Kath and Job's vintage-inspired affair was one romantic celebration. They chose black, white, and pink as their motif. The classic black and white combination served to set the classic feel of the wedding, while the pale touches of pink channeled a subtle romantic air.
"If there were a few words to actually describe our wedding, I'd say it was intimate, personal, and filled with love," shares the bride. The couple and their families made the affair even warmer with DIY projects, such as their misalettes and tulle headbands for the flower girls. "When I look back at more than a year's effort of preparing for our wedding, I see our commitment, the pretty details, our suppliers' dedication, and the support our families and friends willingly gave," the bride says.
The couple also got immense support on the big day, as a lot of their guests made the effort to fly in the country in time for the wedding. "We honestly felt love of epic proportions that day," shares Kate.
