Love Story
While the couple's wedding featured a cool winter theme, the groom's proposal had a different atmosphere--a warm one.
The couple had been in a long-distance relationship ever since Karon had to work in Singapore, and Wayne would visit her there whenever he can. On one of his visits, the couple decided to go to the beach at Bintan in Indonesia, since they've explored most of the sights in Singapore.
One night, at the resort, the couple planned to dine out. Wayne took longer than usual to get ready, and so Karon kept herself preoccupied at their room's living area by reviewing the photos they've taken that day with their camera. While Wayne was finishing dressing up, he called out to Karon that she might find interesting magazines inside the coffee table's storage. Karon cleared the top of the table and took a peek inside--she didn't find any magazines. Instead, there was a lone little box. Wayne finally approached her, got down on his knees, and he took out the ring as he popped the question.

Wedding Preparations
Karon and Wayne's winter-themed wedding in Baguio was one inviting and warm affair.
Karon couldn't help but gush over the details that Ernest Pascual of Events! Events! prepared for their wedding. " Ernest [did] a fantastic job on most of our wedding details. [He's] a truly creative person, full of great ideas, passion and love for work! He is a friend, an artist, a coordinator rolled into one," Karon shares.
Indeed, Ernest's attention to detail allowed the couple to channel their chosen theme. The couple's misalettes, match boxes, gift tags, place cards, napkin holders, table numbers, and menu cards--among many other charming wedding details--were all in blue and silver and created the perfect winter wonderland atmosphere for their affair.
Karon stresses the importance of having a good working relationship with the suppliers to make sure that you'll get the wedding you envisioned. "If you have doubts[about the supplier], don't settle and finalize just yet. Trust is vital in order for [the collaboration] to work," says Karon. Evidently, the couple found trustworthy suppliers, and pulled off their dream wedding.
