Love Story
Jo Anne and Arnold were high school classmates, and also belonged to the same club. They were both members of their school's chamber choir, with Jo Anne playing the clarinet and Arnold playing the saxophone. The time they spent together allowed them to become really good friends.
On their senior year, they became best friends--thanks to countless long phone conversations. Eventually, the special friendship blossomed into romance. "We became a couple on our fourth year [in] college, right after I defended my undergraduate thesis. We have been together since then, [and we call ourselves] as 'The Best Team Ever.' We celebrated our 10th year anniversary as a couple of months before we tied the knot," shares Jo Anne.

Jo Anne and Arnold gave their tenth year anniversary an awesome highlight by tying the knot with an 80s-themed affair laced DIY details. In keeping with the 80s theme, the couple's first dance was to the beat of Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now, while the rest of the night was filled with an all-80s playlist. With the upbeat nostalgic vibe of the wedding, the couple's affair was filled with lots of cheer.
The couple's dedication and hardwork made their wedding truly one of a kind, they were able to pull off one fun-filled wedding. However, Jo Anne admits that there were things that almost got to her, but she remembered not to waste time sweating the small stuff. "Honestly, I was worried about certain details of the wedding, but come wedding day, I realized that I shouldn't have worried about them. Expect the unexpected, but acceptance is key. There will be mishaps, but the important thing is that the couple is enjoying their day,--the details are just secondary," shares Jo Anne.
