Love Story

Jho and TJ already knew of each other before they met personally. They had a lot of common friends, and so they would see each other's page often in social networking sites. After two years of merely being online acquaintances, the two then decided to meet in person. "We just clicked right [away], and everything just fell into place. In less than a year, we had already decided that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together," shares Jho.

TJ popped the question to Jho one ordinary afternoon after they just had merienda with their families. TJ begged to stay behind at the mall and told Jho that he would just meet her later that day. Little did she know that TJ just bought time to pick up the engagement ring. Later that day, TJ invited Jho to go to a spa with him. When they got to their room, Jho was treated to a sight of rose petals that covered the floor. TJ then suddenly hugged and kissed Jho and then went down on one knee, and presented Jho with the ring. "A spa treatment was supposed to be relaxing, but after that I couldn't even stay still! I was so excited and overwhelmed that I just wanted to go home and tell my family that we were already engaged," Jho fondly recalls.

They designed their wedding attire, and also crafted the wooden signages, table numbers, place cards, and a photo display, which also served as Jho and TJ's guestbook. To further showcase their fondness for taking photos, the couple showed five audio-visual presentations during the reception program. With these elements, the couple was able to achieve the look and vibe they wanted for their special day.

"The best advice we can give is to plan ahead," the couple tells planning brides and grooms. "Don't wait till the last minute to accomplish whatever it is you want done.  If you have enough time, you can really move forward with the concepts you want and you won't be stressed out over delays and deadlines," they add.
