Love Story
Janna and Ernest shared a lot of common friends, who facilitated their meeting. In the beginning, the two only exchanged brief conversations, as they were both busy with a lot of things. However, when they finally caught a breather, the two got to know each other more. Eventually, Ernest decided to court Janna. The courtship lasted for a year until they officially became a couple.
The two were inseparable since then, and they were able to forge a steady 10-year relationship until they decided to head to the altar. For his proposal, Ernest simply asked Janna out for a dinner date at Ilustrado in Intramuros, where he asked for her hand in marriage as he went down on one knee. "He looked quite nervous, [I could tell] after years of being together. But after that, [everything] fell into their rightful place," Janna warmly recalls.

Wedding Preparations
As Janna and Ernest got engaged in Intramuros, the two decided to celebrate their big day in Manila as well. The couple's wedding exhibited elegant Pinoy style as Janna and Ernest exchanged vows at Manila Cathedral and hosted their reception at Manila Hotel.
With a moss green and champagne gold color motif, the couple's affair also showcased a bold modern style. With the elegant traditional and contemporary details at their wedding, Janna and Ernest marked their big day with the best of both worlds.
In planning for their wedding, the couple realized how important it is determine what they want. "You should have a clear perspective on what you really want so that your suppliers can make a realistic estimate," Janna shares. Moreover, Janna shares that couples should make an effort to see their supplier's work in an actual event before finalizing their booking. "[Doing so can be] time consuming, but the rewards are worth it," she says.
