Chad proposed to Gail twice, and the first proposal was simple and intimate. The proposal was made meaningful with the white gold ring that Chad gave Gail. Gail later found out that some of the stones in the ring were from his mom, while some others were from jewelry from his childhood.
After four years of being civilly married, Chad proposed again--this time for a church wedding--to Gail. Chad and their daughter set up a camp site, complete with tents, an inflatable pool, and a grill. When Gail came home and saw what Chad and their daughter prepared, Chad then knelt down on one knee and gave Gail a second ring, which was made of yellow gold.
