Love Story
Dawn met Charles through her brother, who was constantly with Charles as they were both training cadet pilots. When the two pilots would go to Clark, Pampanga for training, Charles would always hitch a ride with Dawn' brother-and that gave him a lot of opportunities to see Dawn as well. With the frequency of Charles' visits to Dawn's house, he and Dawn eventually fell in love.
Because Charles was close to Dawn's family, he didn't have a hard time planning his proposal to Dawn. "First, I proposed the idea to my parents. Then a month later, I presented myself to her parents, without her knowing, seeking for her hand in marriage. Finally, I proposed to her a week later, after my three-day retreat," Charles shares.

Dawn and Charles exchanged I do's at Clark, Pampanga. Taking advantage of the district's chic country feel, the two decided to go with a rustic theme for their wedding. The accents and décor came in earth tones, and were complemented with touches of cheery colors, such as yellow.
Sunflowers were also predominantly used for the décor. To incorporate fresh sunflowers into the décor, the bride's event stylist--who's also her friend--grew 250 sunflower seedlings just to give the wedding a festive rustic country vibe.
The wedding's happy vibe also showed in the Dawn and Charles' reception. The couple made quite an entrance as they came in with their entourage, who shook maracas in hand and grooved to the beat of Volare with them. With this, the rest of the bridal party celebrated in high spirits. The couple's wedding was indeed a celebration of love, laughter, and family--just exactly what they promised in their invites.
