College sweethearts Charisse and Randolf celebrated their sixth anniversary as a couple with a modern yellow and black themed wedding. Marked with elegant details and a cheery ambiance, the January affair gave the couple and their guests a great chance to live, laugh, and love.

Love Story
Charisse and Randolf's paths crossed during their college days at Adamson University. Even if they had a lot of common friends and a bunch of classes together, it was only during their last year in college when they actually got to know each other well. "[B]ut I guess that's how destiny works," gushes Charisse. From the moment they started to go out, they have been inseparable. They soon nurtured a long-term relationship.
Because of their bond, it was no surprise that their relationship led to the altar. During a vacation in Hong Kong, Randolf asked for Charisse's hand in marriage. "[As] I was getting sentimental [while] watching the fireworks display in Disneyland, he asked me to marry him [and presented] a fab ring!" the bride shares. So on their sixth anniversary, Charisse and Randolf had more reason to celebrate as they finally tied the knot.

With a modern black and yellow motif, Charisse and Randolf's sixth anniversary as a couple--and first day as husband and wife--turned out to be a day filled with elegance and cheer. With a minimalist style, the couple's January wedding exhibited a unique character.
Admittedly "lacking in the artistic department," the couple devoted themselves to finding the best suppliers that would deliver best realize their visions for their wedding. "Luckily, all our suppliers did great and exceeded our expectations on the big day!" the bride shares.
In having a well-executed wedding, the bride says that "Trust[ing] your supplier and respect[ing] each other's ideas" are key to having a good relationship with your suppliers. Moreover, establishing rapport with them ensures that you'll get the best results for your big day. The bride also asserts that it pays to have a reliable coordinator, as hiring one allowed her to enjoy her big day.
While Charisse and Randolf's suppliers helped them bring their ideas to life, the couple's involvement was also part of the wedding's success. Charisse shares another tip: "Follow your heart, the budget list, and your instincts."
