Love Story
Cha and Mond didn't exactly like each other when they first met. Cha was an account executive at an advertising firm then while Mond was the cluster manager for a computer café company. Cha was assigned to handle the account for Mond's company, and on one of the events that they organized, something went wrong--and so Cha had to find the cluster manager, Mond, to help her sort things out. After the incident, the two exchanged business cards.
At first, their text messages were just about work, until Mond asked Cha to go out on a date with him. "Raymond was completely not my ideal guy. I was looking for a boy-next-door type and bad boy was written all over his face," shares Cha. The two went out on a couple of dates and realized how different they were from one another. "Raymond at that time wasn't looking for a serious relationship, and he was literally enjoying his wild days as a young man. I'm the type that rarely partied, wasn't looking for a fling or hasn't tried any wild stuff for that matter," Cha explains.
After their third date, Mond stopped seeing Cha for a while to sort some personal problems. Five months passed when the two reconnected again as Mond apologized for his sudden absence and sought for another chance. Cha agreed, and months after, the two officially became a couple. Four years into the relationship, the couple finally decided to tie the knot. "He gave me my dream wedding. He gave me my fairytale," gushes Cha.

Cha and Mond tied the knot in Tagaytay, and their celebration featured a chic and intimate ambiance. The couple kept things simple and warm to keep their event unfussy yet still romantic. "We looked at our wedding as a celebration of our love, and so we wanted to involve just the people who were actually part of our journey. [While] it was about us, we also wanted our guests to feel very much connected with our special day," says Cha.
By being hands-on with the preparations, Cha proudly shares that she enjoyed every single bit planning. "I'd like to say I handled the stress quite gracefully, plus my then-fiancé was also as particular when it came to details," shares Cha. The couple considers their wedding as one big labor of love, as a lot of their loved ones willingly pitched in to help them.
Cha and Mond also consider themselves lucky, as they already knew exactly what they wanted when they started planning for the wedding. But in the case of couples who aren't quite sure yet of what to have on their wedding, Cha suggests to "research through the Internet, check out wedding websites (BridalBook was a staple on my desktop), or skim through wedding magazines."
