Love Story
BG and JJ met on their second year in college, as they took the same course in West Visayas University. They shared the same interests, and their common interests led them to become good friends for the rest of their college years.
When they graduated, their friendship took a romantic turn. They became sweethearts even if JJ had to move to Manila for their family business while BG had to stay in Iloilo to pursue a degree in Law. Despite being apart most of the time, BG and JJ were still able to establish a steady, long-term relationship.
On their fourth anniversary as a couple, JJ popped the question to BG after waiting for her at the airport. Their engagement lasted for four years, and the time allowed them to prepare not only for the wedding, but also for their life-long commitment as husband and wife.

BG and JJ tied the knot in Iloilo--the place where they met and fell in love. The couple marked their intimate destination wedding with a fun and inviting ambiance. The couple also worked with a royal blue color motif to give their celebration a regal flair. The modern upbeat affair featured quirky details, and the guests felt comfortable throughout the celebration.
For planning couples, BG and JJ advices to enjoy one's big day as one ought and dreamed it to be. "It is your day--don't let anyone dictate you. [L]isten to the [pieces of] advice but always remember that you get to [have] the final [say]," BG says. However, she adds: "No matter how you plan your wedding to be perfect, there will always be something that will [go wrong], so just leave everything to your coordinator, kick off your shoes and enjoy!"
