For their wedding, Aubrey and Errol chose a heavenly theme because they call each other "Gel" (short for "angel") as a term of endearment. They applied special touches using angel décor for their invitations, entourage dresses, and wedding cake.

Love Story
Aubrey met Errol in 1998 when she joined Youth for Christ (YFC) and they found themselves in the same cluster and household. Both of them were members of their cluster's dance group, and it was during their rehearsals for dance competitions that the two became friends.
At first, Errol would confide in Aubrey about the girl he liked. As a good friend, Aubrey would listen to him and eventually found herself falling for him and thinking that the girl Errol liked was very lucky, especially since he was such a gentleman.
By 2001 however, their friendship took a romantic turn and they started dating. Aubrey knew Errol was the one because he was the first person to give her red roses, a sign which she'd asked God for, to help her find what she calls "God's gift" to her.
Errol popped the question during a day trip to Bohol Beach Club. Errol booked dinner for their group on the night they were supposed to leave, and surprising everyone--especially Aubrey--with his proposal. Aubrey was so happy, she started to cry. It had always been her dream to be proposed to in the beach, under the stars, with her friends.

Wedding Preparations
Aubrey and Errol chose to spend their budget wisely to achieve their simple and heavenly wedding. Still, they were determined to give everyone a good time on their special day.
The couple made their reception very entertaining by showing a concept video to start the program. The concept video was a story of how Aubrey and Errol were running late to the reception and had to ride a pedicab to get the venue. The short video ended with the couple riding a pedicab--and they surprised everyone by entering the reception venue in the same pedicab!
Aubrey shares that a lot of prior research really helped her to prepare for their wedding. She browsed numerous wedding websites, joined forums, and asked her married friends for advice. "Because our budget was also limited, I wanted to get suppliers who are not so pricey but who produce quality work." In the end, the couple was thankful that their pool of suppliers pulled off the wedding they had envisioned.
