Love Story
Anne and Alvin met back in college. While their sisters are best of friends, the two never got the chance to meet until they became classmates in one class.
One time, the two attended the wedding of Alvin's cousin. In that wedding, Anne and Alvin were included in the bouquet and garter toss, and both won. After that incident, the two found themselves spending more time with one another. Later on, they shared more classes together. With their countless group studies, Anne and Alvin's initial simple acquaintance blossomed into something romantic and special.
On a family trip to Melbourne, Australia, Alvin grabbed the opportunity to turn what started in a bouquet and garter game into something real-he wanted to propose to Anne. Aboard a chartered helicopter, as the two enjoyed a vista overlooking the Great Ocean Road, Alvin presented Anne with a ring and popped the question. With a breathtaking view and an amazing companion, Anne, of course, uttered a sweet yes.

Anne and Alvin tied the knot with a lavender and violet color motif that exhibited modern elegance. To make sure that their vision would be executed well, Anne was hands-on during the planning.
The bride was quite particular about the color palette and designs that her suppliers proposed for their wedding. From her bouquet to the reception décor, the shades and styling used were consistent. To complement their elegant wedding, the couple also asked the band D Cappo to entertain their guests.
Everything fell right into place for Anne and Alvin's wedding, and the bride attributes their success to several things. She shares some tips: "Know what you really want [for] your wedding. Be firm in all your decisions, [and] avoid [making] quick decisions." She adds, "Be organized. File all important documents and have a time plan. It would be very difficult if you [start planning] in less than six months just because you think [you have a] very long [time to prepare]." She also thinks that having a priority list would be of great help while planning. "The reception [venue and stylist], church, and couturier are the most important [details], so [finalize these] first," Anne says.
