For Zerline and Ramon, going back to the school where they fell in love, the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU), was the perfect way to celebrate their engagement. Their prenuptial shoot incorporated a fun and youthful theme: College Sweethearts!

To be able to shoot inside the campus, Zerline and Ramon wrote a formal letter addressed to the ADMU administration; they listed the shoot's details (time of shoot, place, and people involved) in the letter. Luckily, they were given permission to shoot on a Saturday afternoon--the couple chose a day when there were less people on campus so that they wouldn't feel too self-conscious about posing.

While the couple wanted to highlight the memories of the good old days, they wanted their shoot to have a sophisticated feel. Chic ensembles replaced the casual garb that they wore as students. The couple's photographer, Oly Ruiz of Metro Photography, also stressed the importance of color in photos, so the couple paid special attention to coordinating their outfits.

By working with their photographer before the wedding, the couple became more comfortable with him and were able to learn a lot about their best angles. Zerline also had her trial hair and makeup session during the shoot--doing so allowed her to check how her look registered in photos. The couple's prenup shoot served as a kind of dry run for their wedding; Zerline suggests that other couples try to have their own practice session of sorts to get a clearer picture of what to expect on the big day.
