Both traditional Chinese, Sherine and Stephen decided to go with a classic Chinese-inspired engagement session. Sherine works in Hong Kong and Stephen works in Singapore, and so they chose to hold their prenuptial session in Shenzen, China, which is an hour and a half by train from Hong Kong. With the province's endless meadows and amazing landscapes, the couple maximized what the area offered.

Sherine, an avid fan of Cantonese drama series, also wanted something unique for their prenuptial shoot. She wished that the photos would have the same feel as her favorite telenovelas, and so the couple went for elegant styling and dramatic poses. To help them execute the concept, Sherine also she found a good deal with photographers in Shenzhen. Their chosen photography package included rental fees for the gorgeous gowns, plus hair and makeup services.

The couple's photographers, Ā jié lǎoshī and Ā hǎi lǎoshī, spent two days capturing the couple's postcard-worthy photos. "It was more costly compared to engagement shoots in the Philippines but everything was worth it, and we were really happy with all the results!," Sherine says.
