Nick and Mish both love the film Serendipity, and their wedding theme had a "wintry New York" feel, so what better way to celebrate their love (both for the film and each other) than to shoot scenes inspired by the movie?
The couple was very dedicated in recreating the story as closely to the original as possible. They researched together, prepared their props and styled themselves--they even bought clothes similar to the ones characters wore in the movie.
The Serendipity-inspired shoot required three different locations. The first location was the SM Mall of Asia Skating Rink, the couple's own version of Central Park where the characters in the film got to know each other. The second location was the Hyatt Hotel and Casino Manila--it was their version of the hotel where the characters in the film tried to see if they would get off on the same floor. The last shoot location was Mary Grace Café in Serendra; it perfectly channeled the Serendipity Café in the movie.
