Karon and Wayne initially wanted a vintage-themed prenuptial photoshoot in May of this year. Karon and her sister had already met with photographer Josephine Sicad and her husband to think of possible props and locations. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the shoot did not push through. Wayne, who works in Manila, had to re-schedule his flight to Singapore, where Josephine, Karon and make-up artist Myca Feng were based. As soon as the flight was final, they called Josephine to schedule their prenuptial shoot with a lighter theme: Anything goes at Universal Studios.

Upon Josephine's recommendation, the team met earlier for a pre-shoot at St. James PowerStation near Universal Studios, Singapore. On the way, they found an empty construction site, and so took a few shots there before finally reaching St. James.

Both St. James Powerstation and the construction site did not require permission nor fees. The couple only ended up spending 66 SGD (roughly PhP2,000) per person for the Universal Studios entrance tickets.

"As expected, there will be a lot of curious onlookers," Karon says of the shoot, but she advises couples who plan on doing something similar to "just be yourselves," "enjoy every moment," and "have a good working relationship with your photographer." Because they did--and in the end, the happy couple had plenty to smile about.
