In case you needed proof that love is still very much alive, Chesca and Doug Kramer just renewed their vows! To make things extra sweet, they did it on their 10th wedding anniversary.
The cherry on top of this kilig-filled story, however, is that it was all Chesca's idea! According to her Instagram post, she (with the help of her team) planned the entire thing in only 10 days:
"I woke up today feeling like a newly married woman. I still can't believe that we were able to pull-off yesterday's surprise renewal without Doug knowing. It's been so hard to keep my mouth shut about this whole thing. At times, I would catch myself about to blurt out my excitement over our renewal and remember that he is not part of the planning. I do everything with Doug and to not have him around to plan this with me is very unusual. I have never surprised Doug before, he always does that.
"That is why I am so thankful that I have the best team. They helped make this surprise a successful one for the love of my life. I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to do this with. Mission accomplished guys! Who would've thought that this was just 10 days of planning. My professional and supportive team! Thank you!"
Doug looked so surprised as he cried his way down the aisle (awwww!!!):
And Chesca was G-L-O-W-I-N-G:
Chesca's dress was from Elize by Liza Padilla, and she was styled by Rain Dagala and Em Millan.
Jay Wee and Justine Navato did her hair and makeup, respectively.
Here's Chesca's bouquet, which perfectly matched her dress!
The classy and rustic set up at the Grand Hyatt Hotel was styled by Jo Claravall.
The reception styling definitely added a more romantic touch!
Here are more photos from their lovely celebration:
Full planning and coordination was done by Teena Barretto.
Celeb guests spotted at the party included Danica Sotto Pingris, Anne Curtis (who even sang a song!), and of course, Chesca's brother Patrick.
