Roque and Romelyn Tan had wanted to tie the knot seaside, but as with many weddings that have been scheduled this year, the plan was derailed due to the pandemic. That, however, did not deter this couple from taking their vows.
“Ang original plan po talaga ng wedding namin is a beach wedding," says Romelyn, and while she admits that she was initially disappointed, she and Roque decided to push through with a DIY pre-nup shoot and a simpler ceremony. The shoot was inspired by their balut business.
“Naisipan po naming na i-DIY ‘yong prenup photos and wedding cart namin para makatipid na rin po kami,” shares Romelyn. Roque adds that another reason why they decided to make their balut business the theme of their wedding is because “dito kami kumukuha ng pangangailangan namin sa araw-araw.”
