Not even the strictest quarantine can stop Angel Locsin and Neil Arce from tying the knot.
On August 7, 2021, day two of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in Metro Manila, Angel announces that she is officially Mrs. Neil Arce.
But the civil wedding actually took place last week.
Neil promised to give his bride her "dream wedding" because "di siya nag-prom, di siya nag-debut," he said in an interview with Amy Perez's Teleradyo program Sakto on February 15, 2021.
Angel then described her "dream wedding" as "masaya" and "hindi yung ilang na ilang kang gumalaw." And that was what happened.
Clad in a pair of black jeans and white sneakers, the bride looked giddily happy.
The groom also wore a black-and-white ensemble.
According to event planner La Belle Fête, the couple wanted "things simple, nothing pretentious, warm, welcoming, not too feminine, raw, and real."
The caption of Angel's first wedding post revealed her mood: "Namimilipit pa ako sa kilig..."
For her beauty look, her straight hair was devoid of any ornament, and her barely-there make-up was just right for the tone of the occasion.
Angel's bouquet was styled by Randy Lazaro, who used "white Hellebores, Astilbe, Bouvardia, Nigella, Italian Ruscus combined with Eucalyptus."
The photos were taken "sa parking lot sa may tabing bahay," according to the 36-year-old actress. She gushed, "Nagmukhang ibang bansa!"
Angel and Neil announced their engagement in June 2019.
They were supposed to have their prenup shoot in Oslo, Norway, and hold their grand wedding on November 8, 2020. But their celebration plans had to be postponed and scaled down because of the pandemic.
Congrats, Neil, and best wishes, Angel!
