Walking in high heels takes a bit of practice, but it's something worth learning for the big day. After all, wearing heels will make you look taller and slimmer (and we all want that!). BridalBook.ph asked StyleBible.ph's Isha Andaya for some pointers on walking in high heels.POSTURE PERFECT
When choosing a pair of heels, opt for a pair that will allow you to keep your back straight. To gauge if your pair of heels is manageable to walk in, Isha recommends that you take small deliberate steps first and see if you can keep your back straight while doing so. If you can only walk in them with your knees bent, then that pair of shoes is too high for you.
THINK THICK
If your legs go wobbly on stilettos, a pair of wedges or block-heeled shoes might be a better option for you. A pair of platform shoes is also manageable for newbies. Isha explains, "Finding a pair with that extra platform in front lessens the slope of the arch (making them less uncomfortable) and gives you added height too!"
