In the Queen City of South, brides are blessed with beautiful options for their wedding.

First, there's the piece of paradise that is Shangri-la's Mactan Resort and Spa. This luxurious haven is the city's most elegant address, and recently opened its doors to soon-to-weds looking for nothing but the best for their wedding. Romance and enchantment took place at Of Veils and Trails, a graceful wedding fair designed for beautiful beginnings. Couples who attended the event were given a tour of the resort's stunning venues--the Ocean Pavilion, Ocean Terraces, the beachfront, Mactan Ballrooms and The Marquee, each exquisitely styled by Cebu's notable wedding stylists. At The Marquee, couples were treated to cocktails and a sampling of selections from the resort's wedding menus. They were also able to sit down with the Cebu's top wedding suppliers.

Second, there's the impressive pool of talented designers whose bridal couture were unveiled at a fashion show that evening. Sashaying down the catwalk were chic and classy creations from 14 of Cebu's fashion artisans, fit for all types of brides - from classic to avant garde.
