Only three days left before the much-awaited royal wedding, and the hype worldwide continues to build up. In anticipation of the highlight of Kate Middleton and Prince William's modern-day fairytale, we asked some local wedding photographers about their insights should they be tasked to cover the royal wedding. Check out their suggestions--you might be able to get some ideas for your own prenup shoot!
BridalBook: If you were to do the royal couple's prenuptial shoot, what would be your suggested shoot location and concept?
Andy Samaniego
Andy Samaniego would plan a prenup shoot that entails minimal posing, so the photos will show who Kate and William really are. He also wishes to put the couple in a different light, so he envisions a shoot in a location that's very different from what the couple is accustomed to--like a third world country. With the couple in a foreign land, their interaction will set the narrative behind the photos.

Bryan Yap
Among Bryan Yap's suggestions for Kate and William's prenuptial shoot is a picnic-themed shoot at the African safari--an apt choice for the couple who got engaged while on a holiday in Kenya. Bryan says, "I'd ask them the usual question I ask my couples: 'Where would they like [to shoot], and where [will they] be very comfortable?' And that's where we'll start." Pat Dy
Pat Dy shares that he would highlight Kate and William's backgrounds in their prenuptial shoot. "They are of elegance, class, and tradition so I would shoot them in a castle containing the best European decor," he says. He adds, "Imagine a castle [that is] hundreds of years old with the gorgeous couple wearing the best designer clothes. It [doesn't have to] be the happy kind of shoot, but [their photos] should look modern, elegant, and effortless.
