Love Story
Anne and Warren first met on the first day of school--and it was love at first sight. They were both 13 then, and Warren can easily recall that day in detail because he had immediately developed a crush on Anne upon seeing her as he entered their classroom. Throughout high school, Warren kept his feelings from Anne, until they became really good friends in college. With good friendship as foundation, Anne and Warren eventually became a couple.
On a trip to Cebu with friends, Warren gave his long-time crush more reasons to feel special. Nervous, with a pair of cold hands and shut lips, Warren just presented the engagement ring to Anne. "I was blabbering, asking him tons of questions that I don't even recall afterwards. I asked him if it was an engagement ring, he nodded, and then I said yes," Anne fondly shares.

Wedding Preparations
Anne and Warren's big day was a warm celebration that featured classic elements. A plum and turquoise color palette laced their event, which was also peppered with DIY details courtesy of the bride. From table accents, favors, and souvenirs, the bride made sure that each item was stamped with the couple's personalities. Armed with research and support from Warren, Anne was able to fulfill all the details she had envisioned to incorporate in her wedding.
Before the reception, the couple and their guests had a charming sky lantern ceremony. The enchanting activity served as a great segue to a laid-back program, which was marked with heartwarming speeches and fun games.
Engaged as she was in putting everything together, Anne admits that there were still some things that didn't go as planned on the wedding day. However, she asserts that brides should just let them go and embrace everything. "Think happy thoughts, and do not fret about the small things. Look at your groom and you will realize that all the fuss is happening so that you can be with this wonderful person forever," says Anne.
